Senior Mechanical Structure Engineer ↑
Responsibilities:
- Own structural architecture design for the full humanoid robot, robotic arms, and mobile chassis, including body structure, hardware stacking, sensor layout, joint transmission, housing, thermal dissipation, cable routing, and modular design.
- Select joint modules and transmission solutions and deliver production-ready structural assemblies.
- Independently run the full workflow from concept through detailed design, prototyping, and engineering optimization.
- Conduct structural reliability analysis and risk management.
- Participate in prototype DOE, testing, analysis failures, noise, thermal issues, interference, and fatigue life.
- Design for motion mechanisms, transmission, damping, protection, and simulation.
- Advance DFMA / DFA / DFM practices for factory and mass-production requirements.
- Select materials and evaluate processes with cost control in mind.
- Design structural protection per ESD, RF, optical, and audio guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Process Equipment & Control, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Experience in mass-production structural design for robots, smart hardware, or automation equipment.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Creo, or Cora.
- Familiar with common materials/processes and solid grounding in mechanics, dynamics, strength, stiffness, tolerance, fatigue, and reliability design.
- Humanoid/quadruped/robotic-arm/dexterous-hand experience is a plus.
- Strong cross-team collaboration.
